Over the summer months and throughout 2015, Powercare Electrical Services has been busy with work as usual, providing high quality, reliable lighting solutions for our clients. Our dedicated team of lighting consultants and technicians have been providing design, repair and replacement services throughout the North East, and we thought now would be a good time to look back at a job well done so far.
Here are just a few of the projects that we have been engaged with so far this year.
We welcomed Teesside University as a new customer and look forward to a long and productive relationship with them as we continue to provide on-site support and technical assistance in order to ensure that their facilities work at optimal levels. In the short time that we have been working together, Powercare Electrical Services has been able to repair and replace high level lighting in lecture theatres and computer suites, in addition to undertaking external lighting maintenance and modifications where necessary.
Our work also including replacing the heads on a number of external columns, transforming them from single to double LED in the process.
Naturally, our technicians found themselves hard at work repairing and replacing internal high level lighting and LED lighting across a number of sites in Middlesbrough, Washington, Sunderland, Gateshead, Darlington and Newcastle, as well as further sites in Ashington and Carlisle. In addition to this, we were able to:
With the autumn now upon and winter on its way, we were able to install LED festive lighting on Church room buildings and trees for Scalby Borough Council and begin preparations for the installation of Christmas lights in Stockton on Tees, Durham City, Filey and Norton on Derwent.
Stockton Borough Council
As part of the Stockton SIRF festival we were able to install a large A-board in Stockton High Street on behalf of Stockton Borough Council.
Much of our work takes place on site in various hospitals in and around Teesside, and we are happy to provide support and assistance where needed. Here, emergency lighting is critical, which is why we carry out monthly pre-planned maintenance checking the condition of every emergency light and carrying out repairs and replacement fittings where necessary. Working on an ongoing basis, our team ensures that emergency lights are in constant operation across the entire site at all times.
In addition, we were able to implement monthly external lighting maintenance tasks and maintenance across various sites, as well as general lighting and electrical repairs.
Sports Field Lighting
Work was carried out at Eaglescliffe School and Walker Technology College in Newcastle, where our team was able to repair astro turf lighting that was unfit for purpose.
