Temporary Power and Festive Lighting

Temporary Power

Powercare has a great track record when it comes to temporary power. The type of work this involves includes music events and large exhibitions through to marquee power, temporary lighting and one-off events.

We can design the power requirements for any event and provide and install the generators, cabling and distribution in a safe and effective method.

Alongside our own equipment, we are able to call on a number of specialists in the industry inclusive of stage lighting technicians.

Powercare provides a full temporary power service to include generators, cable & distribution installation and stage lighting services. Powercare can also calculate your cable distribution and generator requirements.

Powercare often cross-hires generators to clients and provides a full connection service, ideal for planned power outages and emergencies – for example, we have been able to reinstate temporary power to hotels following power cuts to avoid cancelling important events. In other hotels we have installed permanent back up generators which start up automatically in the event of a power cut.

Festival Lighting

Some examples of our Festive lighting installations include the Christmas lights in Durham city centre and market place, Whitby, Scarborough, Scunthorpe, Filey and Stockton on Tees. We lit up the Infinity Bridge in Stockton for the Queen’s Jubilee, providing a synchronized music and lighting event.

Powercare also provides power distribution at music events for the marquees, toilet blocks and food trailers. Such installations may include anything from a small wedding to a large multi-stage music event. We can design the power requirements for any event and provide and install the generators, cabling and distribution using safe and effective methods.

Alongside our own equipment, we are able to call on a number of specialists in the industry including stage lighting technicians and sound engineers.
