Another successful year for Powercare Electrical Services has seen us deliver a number of high quality lighting solutions to our clients throughout the North East. Using the best available components, we were able to meet the challenging demands of our clients, often in difficult circumstances, and the bespoke applications we were able to provide ensured that our customers were able to increase the efficiency of their lighting systems, as well as reduce running costs, with minimal disruption to their day to day operations.
In the last quarter alone, we had worked with a number of notable customers, such as Crathorne Hall, Judges Country House Hotel, Double Diamond Casinos, Gala Leisure, James Cook University Hospital, Eaglescliffe School Durham Tees Valley Airport and Rainbow Casinos, across a wide range of electrical and lighting projects. In each case, we were able to satisfy our customer’s demands and were able to complete the works in a prompt, efficient fashion with a high standard of workmanship.
When working with Crathorne Hall, we replaced the Emergency lighting throughput the Hotel with LED emergency lighting fittings and able to work flexibly to meet our customers requirements with no disruption to events such as weddings, or conferences or their guests. We have worked for Crathorne for many years, installing and maintaining their external lighting and providing on call assistance in the case of emergencies.
As a contractor to Gala Leisure, we have maintained their Bingo Halls for a number of years. Recent projects have included the installation of external LED lighting at Darlington , overnight high level relamping of Ashington Bingo Hall, and Carlisle Bingo Hall. In addition we have continued to provide 24/7 reactive electrical maintenance to other Bingo Halls at Middlesbrough, Newcastle upon Tyne, Metro Centre, Sunderland, Washington. At James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough we have continued with our car park lighting and external lighting maintenance but have recently undertaken a number of projects. These have included installing new lampposts where patients have hit them in the car park, maintenance on the helipad and re-lamping the Ambulance area. We have also replaced the existing Emergency Lighting with LED Emergency Lighting fittings in a number of areas which we source from a reliable British company that is able to custom build fittings and provides long term guarantees on its LED lighting . We were able to complete the installation of PIR sensored LED lighting in their Ripon Block ahead of schedule, installed LED lighting in a number of corridors and staircases and installed high level LED lamps in the Atrium.
Egglescliffe School required re-lamping of high level Masts on their sports ground. In order to achieve this we needed to use our extra high cherrypicker to avoid disturbing the pitch. All our staff have been trained in high level work and hold IPAF licences. We do similar regular high mast maintenance at JCUH and Durham Tees Valley Airport and a number of property management companies. Although based at Durham Tees Valley Airport we are NOT employed by them but do undertake a number of projects on the Durham Tees Valley site both for the airport and other companies. We have recently rewired one of the hangers enabling the airport to rent out the property to other clients. We are currently re-lamping the Passenger Terminal, installing around 400 LED emergency light fittings to help reduce the energy costs for the airport.
We now work with Double Diamond Casinos who have recently taken over the Rainbow Casino at Teesside. In recent months we have completed a Full Electrical Inspection at their casinos in Teesside and Aberdeen, installed new LED Emergency lights in Teesside and are arranging the electrical requirements for pending changes in Aberdeen.
